Mogura ("the App") is a macOS application developed by Yuxin Gao ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
In short: Mogura processes everything locally on your Mac. We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data.
Mogura has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not collect, store on our servers, or receive from you any personal information, media files, transcripts, or usage data.
All transcription and subtitle editing happen entirely on your Mac using on-device speech-recognition models (Whisper, running locally via Apple's Metal). Your audio and video files are processed locally and are never uploaded to us or to any third party for transcription.
The App accesses the network for a single purpose: to download the Whisper model file you choose, from a source you select — Hugging Face or ModelScope. When you start a download, your device connects directly to that provider to retrieve the file. We receive no information from this connection. Those providers may process the request (e.g. server logs including your IP address) under their own privacy policies:
The App makes no other network requests. It does not "phone home", check in, or send telemetry.
Everything the App creates stays on your Mac:
The App runs in the macOS App Sandbox and accesses only the files you explicitly select, using macOS security-scoped bookmarks.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose any of your data — because we never collect it in the first place.
Mogura is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Because your data lives only on your Mac, you are in full control. You can delete any project from within the App (which also revokes its saved file access), remove downloaded models in Settings → Models, or uninstall the App to remove all of its data.
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be reflected in an App update.

我们不共享、不出售、不出租、不披露你的任何数据——因为我们从一开始就不收集它。
Mogura 并非面向儿童，也不会在知情情况下收集任何人（包括 13 岁以下儿童）的信息。
由于你的数据只存在于你的 Mac 上，你拥有完全的控制权。你可以在应用内删除任意项目（同时会撤销其已保存的文件访问权），在 设置 → Models 中删除已下载的模型，或卸载应用以移除其全部数据。
如本隐私政策有更新，我们将修改上方的"生效日期"。重大变更将通过应用更新体现。
